I’ve always been obsessed with writing and the media.
From the moment I got my first headline in the university paper, I was hooked.
After growing up near York, I gained the NCTJ Diploma in Newspaper Journalism at Cardiff University, I then cut my teeth in regional journalism as a local newspaper reporter in Brighton.
I quickly moved to national newsrooms in London, covering breaking daily news at The Daily Express and Sunday Express. I then joined the features desk team at The Daily Star.
When freelance life called, I swapped celebrity interviews for personal finance, lifestyle and health - writing for The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian and MailOnline, among many others.
Today, I use this expertise to help Yorkshire SMEs build authority and attract new clients by gaining media visibility.
I’m particularly skilled at identifying the story angles that will land in the press, and matching these with my network of journalist contacts.
Out of work you’ll find me in the pool, at an art gallery or exploring the Yorkshire countryside with my family.
