About Linda
I’ve always been obsessed with writing and the media.
From the moment I got my first headline in the university paper, I was hooked.
After growing up near York, I gained the NCTJ Diploma in Newspaper Journalism at Cardiff University, I then cut my teeth in regional journalism as a local newspaper reporter in Brighton.
I quickly moved to national newsrooms in London, covering breaking news at The Daily Express and Sunday Express before joining the features team at The Daily Star and writing freelance for many national titles, including The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian and Metro.
After moving back to Yorkshire, I worked for six years at an award-winning internal comms agency in York, supporting global firms, charities and in-house teams in the public sector.
Today, I offer freelance communications and PR services to agencies, in-house teams and businesses.
Out of work you’ll find me doing laps in the pool, at an art gallery or exploring the Yorkshire countryside with my family.
